How Pets Can Help You Stop Masturbating

Posted By on May 13th, 2013 in Vitaminfix Think - Issue 35

Pets can actually help you stop masturbating, if this has become a problem.

While masturbation provides health benefits, just like anything else, too much of a good thing can damage your health. Your sex life is a delicate thing that requires attention, and a healthy balance just like all other aspects of your life. So, since many people struggle with too much of this particular good thing here is something to consider before you celebrate National Masturbation Month fervently. Pets offer a great way to nurture your mood, and help develop health relationships. Not only that but a recent study has shown that dogs can actually act as a catalyst for social interactions. Pets can offer you a change to take care of something, and you will find yourself outside walking your dog, or at the pet store shopping for your four-legged friend instead of masturbating. This can serve as a way to spark interactions with other pet owners! Increasing your social interactions with your pet can help enhance your feelings of wellbeing, and overall health.

Pets Can Improve Your Sex Life

Two studies were recently conducted on how pets enhance feelings of wellbeing. In one study, a highly trained dog was used to ensure that the dog itself did not solicit attention from passers-by. Data was collected across a range of normal daily activities in which a dog could be included, but not confined to conventional dog walking areas as in previous studies. When a person was accompanied by a dog, the frequency of social interactions increased, especially interactions with strangers. In the second study, also using a trained dog, a male participant observer was dressed either smartly or scruffily. Although there were significantly more interactions when he was smartly dressed, the greatest effect was when the dog was present. So basically, pets can even help you meet members of the opposite sex!

These studies show that pets are a social catalyst, that can provide results when it comes to the opposite sex. Investigate your possible consequences of this effect on your health and wellbeing and adopt a pet today! Caring for a furry friend can bring all kinds of positive feelings into your life, can help keep you busy, improve your mood, increase your exercise, and offer loving feelings of the most genuine nature.

Risks of Over-Masturbation

While pets can be a big responsibility, the frequent walks, and caring for the pet can actually help you stay healthy! If you find that you are masturbating too much, (a few times a day, every day) pets can help you engage in healthier activities. While masturbation is normal, when over-practiced it can lead to psychological and physiological imbalances that can damage your body. Side effects of the changes in your body caused by over stimulation of sex hormones can include:

  • Fatigue
  • Hair loss
  • Memory loss
  • Blurred vision
  • Groin/testicular pain
